Welcome to Veta Grande Ranch!  Home of Kenny and Michelle Schueller. We are located in Scales Mound, part of beautiful, scenic Jo Daviess County in the Northwest corner of Illinois.

Our goal is to breed performance Quarter Horses with excellent disposition, conformation, and pedigree.  Mares are own daughters of Playgun, CD Olena, Dualin Gun, Jazzy Joe Lena, and Freckles Smokin Doc. Other pedigrees include great performers such as Smart Little Lena, Doc Tari, Taris Catalyst, Freckles Playboy, Peppy San Badger, Miss Silver Pistol, Poco Tivio, Royal Silver King, Colonel Freckles, Dry Doc, Docs Hickory, Jazzabell Quixote, and Doc O'Lena.

We are breeding to the following outside stallions: Playgun and Playboy Boonsmal for 2008 foals. Bet on Me 498, Highdrive Cat, and Little Freckles Cat for 2009 foals.
